Since 2003. 2,300+ physical therapy practices across 49 states and Canada. Founded and run by a physical therapist, David Straight, PT, DPT.

What does E-rehab actually do for a physical therapy practice?
E-rehab runs a complete, done-for-you marketing system for physical therapy private practices. We build and maintain your website, get you found on Google, generate and reply to your reviews, write and send your patient newsletters, and keep your practice visible in your community. We call that system the R5 Growth Engine.
We’ve done this for physical therapy practices only since 2003: 2,300+ practices across 49 states and Canada. You treat patients. We run the engine.

Who is E-rehab built for?
Owners of physical therapy private practices, usually with one to three locations, who are too busy treating patients to become marketers. If you’ve tried a little of everything at 10 p.m., or paid a vendor who didn’t know physical therapy, you’re exactly who we built this for.
Opening a brand-new practice? There’s a package sized for year one.
Go deeper: Why E-rehabNew Practice Jumpstart
Do you work with practices in my state or in Canada?
Almost certainly yes. We serve physical therapy practices in 49 states and Canada. We’re still looking for our first North Dakota practice.
Everything is done remotely and on scheduled calls, so where your clinic sits doesn’t change how the work gets done.
Go deeper: About E-rehab
What happens on the first call?
You talk with David Straight, PT, DPT, the physical therapist who founded E-rehab. It’s a working conversation about your market and your numbers, not a pitch. He looks at where you rank, your reviews next to nearby practices, and your current website, then tells you plainly which plan fits, with exact numbers.
Sometimes the answer is the smallest plan. Sometimes it’s keep doing what you’re doing. There’s no pressure either way.

How do I reach a real person at E-rehab?
Two ways. Schedule a call online, or call (800) 468-5161. You can also send a question through the form on this page and we’ll answer it directly.
Go deeper: Schedule a CallAsk a question
I’m new to all of this. Where should I start reading?
Start with the Full R5 System page. It shows the path every patient takes to find, choose, and stay with a practice, and which part of your marketing owns each step. Then compare the plans side by side. Then book the call and bring your questions.
The R5 Growth Engine
One system that follows the patient’s path, instead of a pile of tactics from separate vendors.
What do the five Rs stand for?
R1 Website, R2 Rank, R3 Reputation, R4 Retain, R5 Reach. Each one owns a step in the patient’s journey:
- R1 Website. Where the patient learns about you, trusts you, and books.
- R2 Rank. Showing up on the Google map when someone nearby searches.
- R3 Reputation. Winning the trust decision with five-star reviews.
- R4 Retain. Bringing past patients back through email.
- R5 Reach. Being the practice your whole town already knows.
Why do you call the website the hub of all marketing?
Because every way a new patient finds you ends in the same place. They search Google and land on your website. They read your reviews and click through to your website. A friend or a doctor refers them, and they still look you up first. If the website doesn’t convert, every marketing dollar leaks.
That’s why we fix the hub first, and why every plan starts with it.
Go deeper: R1: Your website is the hub
In what order should a practice fix its marketing?
Follow the patient. First make sure the website can turn a visitor into a call. Then get found on the map and chosen by your reviews. Then keep the patients you’ve earned through email, and get known in your community.
A brand-new practice follows a tighter version: be findable first, be bookable second, be reviewed third. Everything else can wait until the schedule can’t.
Go deeper: The Full R5 SystemNew Practice Jumpstart
How do the five parts help each other?
They’re built to feed each other, which is the whole point of a system. Reviews lift rankings. Rankings send searchers to the website. The website turns every new patient into a newsletter subscriber. Retained patients leave more reviews. Every five-star review becomes a social post. And people search for practices they’ve heard of, so brand awareness lifts search.
Separate vendors never connect those pieces. That’s the seam where patients fall through.

Where does video fit in the R5 engine?
Video doesn’t get its own R because it works inside three of them. It helps your website convert, it turns a happy patient into a story other patients trust, and it powers your reach in your community. One video does its job on your site, in your feed, and in your patients’ inbox.

What are the four jobs a physical therapy website has to do?
Answer “Can you help me?” in five seconds. Build trust before the patient scrolls. Make booking effortless, with your phone number at the top and an appointment request one tap away. And never embarrass you: fast, modern, and professional on the phone in a patient’s hand.
Most sites do none of the four. Yours will do all of them.
Go deeper: Four jobs your website must doEverything that comes with your website
What are the five calls in my first month?
A StoryBrand messaging call, a website design call, a personal introduction to your support team, a design review call where you react to your working preview site, and a homepage copy review call. All five happen in your first month, all with real people who will know your practice by name.
From there: an internal pages review, a launch review, and a go-live date on the calendar. You approve. We do the work.
Go deeper: From kickoff to live in 45 to 60 days
Do you use real photos of my team, or stock photos?
Your call. We push for your real team and your real clinic, because that’s what patients trust, and we guide you on exactly what to shoot. If you’d rather use professional stock photos, that works too.
Go deeper: Physical therapy website design
Will my Google reviews show up on my website?
Yes, at every plan. Silver includes a website review page. Gold adds a streaming review popup. Platinum adds Review Pop and the Wall of Love page, so new visitors see your five-star stories before they decide.
Go deeper: Reputation managementCompare All Plans
Can the website connect to my EMR, intake forms, or payment tool?
Yes. The Silver website plan includes patient intake forms or EMR integration, plus payment tool integration, along with the appointment request system and click-to-call tracking. We’ll walk through your specific tools on your call.
Go deeper: The Silver plan
Who handles hosting, security, and software updates?
We do. Fast, secure hosting with SSL, backups, domain and DNS management, software updates, and fixes are all included. You never log in unless you want to.
Go deeper: Hosting, security, and maintenance, handled
Does my website come with a blog, and who writes it?
The blog is built in, and we write it. Google rewards practices that stay active, so weekly patient blog posts are written and published for you with Gold plans and above. You never touch a keyboard.
Go deeper: The Gold planSEO and local search
Getting found on Google
The map, your Google Business Profile, your listings, and when ads make sense.
Why do you say “the map is the money”?
Because when someone five minutes from your clinic searches “physical therapy near me,” Google answers with a map and three names, and most patients never look past them. The map decides who gets the call. Not your degree, not your outcomes. That’s why local search is the center of everything we do in R2.
Go deeper: R2: Nobody calls a practice they never found
What is a Google Business Profile, and do you manage mine?
It’s the free Google listing that powers the map, and for a local practice it’s the single most important thing you own online. On Platinum and Diamond we claim it, complete it, pick the right categories, keep your services, hours, and photos fresh, and post to it every week.
Go deeper: Physical therapy SEO and local search
Do you chase keywords like “sciatica treatment” or “back pain relief”?
No. Those phrases look great in a report and bring readers, not patients. Almost nobody near your clinic searches them, and the few who do want an article at 11 p.m., not an appointment. We chase the searches that book visits: “physical therapy near me,” “physical therapy” plus your town, and your practice name.
Go deeper: The keywords that sound great and do nothing
Do you fix my listings on Apple, Bing, Yelp, and other directories?
Yes. One wrong phone number on one directory makes Google trust you less. We find every mismatch in your name, address, and phone across the web, fix it, and keep watching it. Platinum includes Apple Business Connect, Bing Places, and Yelp management alongside your Google Business Profile.
Go deeper: Your listings, cleaned up and kept cleanThe Platinum plan
Can Google Ads replace SEO?
No. Rankings first, ads for fuel. Ads work best on top of a strong foundation: a website that converts, a profile that ranks, and reviews that win the tap. We also test your market before we commit a dollar, because in some markets ads are exceptionally successful and in others they burn money.
Go deeper: Google Ads for physical therapyWhen ads make sense
What happens if ads stop producing patients?
We tell you, and we turn them off. Every call and appointment request from your ads is tracked back to the ad that produced it, so you never wonder. And because there’s no long-term contract, we have no reason to keep spending your money.
Go deeper: The off switchThe Diamond plan
Can I learn to rank my clinic on Google myself?
You can, and we wrote a free guide to show you every step. The honest catch: local search isn’t a project with an end date. It’s the same correct work done every week, forever. Plenty of owners start with the guide and hand it off when patients happen and it slides to the bottom of the list.

Reviews and reputation
85,000+ Google reviews generated for physical therapy practices, 98% five-star.
Why do patients pick the practice with more reviews?
Because reviews are the tiebreaker. Two clinics appear. One has 340 reviews, one has 19. Patients don’t compare credentials. They tap 340. Reviews do three jobs at once: they win the tap, they lift your map rankings, and they pre-sell your care before the patient walks in.
Go deeper: R3: Reviews are the tiebreaker
Why do text review requests beat email requests?
Roughly 1 in 50 patients responds to an email review request. Done right, text requests get about 1 in 6. Same patients, same great care, eight times the reviews. The difference isn’t the message. It’s the system doing the asking.
Go deeper: Software sends messages. A system produces reviews.Reputation management
Do you ever pay for reviews or screen out unhappy patients?
Never. We never pay for reviews and never filter out unhappy patients before asking. 98% five-star happens because your care earns it. Asking every patient for honest feedback is completely legitimate. Gaming it isn’t, and we don’t.
Go deeper: “Asking for reviews feels awkward.”
What are NFC, QR, and website review capture?
Three ways a patient can leave a review in seconds, right from their phone, with no accounts and no hunting. A tap on an NFC card, a scan of a QR code, or a link on your website. Your front office triggers the ask. All three come with the full reputation system on Platinum and Diamond.
What are Review Pop and the Wall of Love?
Review Pop streams your newest five-star reviews onto your website as visitors browse. The Wall of Love is a page on your site that collects them in one place. Both are part of Platinum, so every new visitor sees what your patients say before they decide.
Go deeper: The Platinum plan
Can you tell me exactly how the review system decides when to ask?
Not on a web page. That part is what makes the system produce results other tools don’t, and it’s exactly what we walk you through on a call. What we can say here: your front office triggers it with a tap, we build and automate everything behind it, and most practices are generating reviews the week they launch.
Go deeper: Schedule a Call
Patient email
900,000+ active patient subscribers. 85 million+ newsletters sent since 2003.
Why do you say a past patient is the most profitable new patient?
Because you already earned the relationship. Winning a brand-new patient takes rankings, reviews, and a great website just to get one call. A patient who already loves you just needs to remember your name when a new ache shows up a year later. Staying in their inbox is the cheapest problem in marketing to fix.
Go deeper: R4: They loved you. Then they forgot you.
What is a monthly email video newsletter?
A patient newsletter we write, design, and send in your practice’s name every month, with a video built in. Injury prevention, recovery tips, seasonal advice, and news from your practice, written to help first and sell rarely. It comes with Gold, Platinum, and Diamond.
Can you send a one-time email when something changes at my practice?
Yes. A new clinician, a new service, a schedule change, a health alert: say the word and we write it and send it for you. Broadcast emails on demand come with Gold and above.
Go deeper: Broadcast emails, on demand
Can you help me stay in front of referring doctors too?
Yes, with one honest caveat: doctors refer to the physical therapist they know, so the handshake has to be yours. What we provide on Platinum, as an optional bonus, is Physician Sales & Marketing Training: a recorded course, done-for-you outreach materials, and physician newsletter templates you put your name on and send.

Plans, pricing, and contracts
Four sizes of one system. No long-term contracts. The full set of billing questions lives on the pricing FAQ.
What comes with every plan, no matter the size?
Your website. Every plan stands on the Silver foundation: a custom, phone-first site designed and written for you, appointment requests and click-to-call tracked, hosting and security handled, your reviews on your site, and 5-star phone and email support. Gold, Platinum, and Diamond each add a layer on top. Nothing gets swapped out, and nothing gets left behind.
Go deeper: The Silver planPlans and pricing
Where can I see every feature of every plan side by side?
On the Compare All Plans page. Every deliverable, grouped by the R5 system, in one table. A check means it’s included. A diamond mark means it’s an optional bonus we unlock as you grow.
Go deeper: Compare All Plans
How does the cost compare to hiring a marketing employee?
It’s less than a part-time marketing employee, and that employee wouldn’t know physical therapy. We don’t compete on being the cheapest. We compete on being the most complete system built for physical therapy private practice, at a price a one- or two-location clinic can sustain. Exact numbers come from one short call, not a form.

What does the New Practice Jumpstart get working first?
Three things a new practice can’t wait on: a website that books patients, a Google Business Profile that puts you on the map, and your first five-star reviews, switched on from your first patients. It’s sized for a year-one budget and grows into our regular plans as your schedule fills. The best time to call is the moment you have a lease and an opening date.
Go deeper: New Practice Jumpstart
Where are the answers about contracts, billing, setup, and leaving?
On the pricing FAQ. The headline: no long-term contracts, leave any month, and clients stay an average of 7.8 years anyway. Our longest-standing client has been with us 23.7 years. Your domain stays in your name, and your logo, photos, and story are always yours.

Working with E-rehab
What “done for you” means in practice, and what we put in writing before you start.
What are the parts only my practice can do?
The care that earns five stars, the handshake with a referring doctor, and the culture that makes people want to work for you. Day to day, your team’s part is minutes: a tap to trigger a review request when a happy patient checks out, seconds to add a new patient to your email list, and a photo now and then. We train your front office once. We never claim you do literally nothing, because the parts only you can do are what make the rest work.
Go deeper: Done for you, defined honestly
What’s in my monthly report?
Calls and appointment requests, front and center, tied to your marketing. Then what we did this month and what’s next, in plain words you can read in two minutes. If a number can’t be connected to a patient, it doesn’t get to headline your report. No impressions, no follower counts, no traffic graphs.
Go deeper: Reported in patients, not decoration
Does E-rehab use AI?
Yes, as a tool. AI helps our team draft faster, spot patterns in what your patients say, and catch changes in your market sooner. It never replaces the judgment. People who know physical therapy decide what your patients read, what your budget does, and what your report says.
Go deeper: AI in the toolbox, physical therapy people at the controls
Who do I talk to when I need something changed?
A support team that knows your practice by name, not a ticket queue. You meet them on a call in your first month and keep the same team after launch. 98% of support interactions are rated positive, ticket by ticket, by our clients.
Go deeper: Meet the team
I’ve been burned by a marketing company before. Why would this be different?
Four things you can verify before you spend a dollar. A physical therapist owns the company: David Straight, PT, DPT. We’ve served physical therapy practices only since 2003. We report calls and appointment requests, not vanity numbers. And there’s no long-term contract, so we have to earn your practice every month. The result is clients who are free to leave choosing to stay 7.8 years.
Go deeper: Why E-rehabE-rehab vs a local agency
What should I ask any marketing agency before I hire them?
Five questions, and ask us the same ones on your call:
- How many physical therapy practices do you serve, and for how long?
- What will you need from my team every month?
- Show me a report. Does it count patients or clicks?
- Who writes the review replies?
- What does leaving look like?
An agency that squirms at them is answering you already.
Our numbers
We publish exact tracked totals and understate rather than estimate.
What do the † and § marks next to your numbers mean?
They’re footnotes, and we’d rather you read them than skip them.
† next to “2.1 million+ patient phone calls” means tracked mobile click-to-call actions only. Desktop website calls aren’t trackable, so the true total is higher.
§ next to “7.8 years” means average client tenure is 7.8 years, nearly triple the marketing industry norm, and our longest-standing client has been with us 23.7 years, since our founding year.
Go deeper: Measured in patients, not vanity numbers
Why do you say your totals are floors, not ceilings?
Because measurement of most of our metrics began years after our 2003 founding. Every total we publish is what we actually tracked, so the real numbers are higher. We’d rather understate than estimate. We also round down: 2,300+ practices, 85,000+ reviews, 900,000+ subscribers.
Go deeper: The record since 2003
Can I read reviews of E-rehab itself, not just your clients’ reviews?
Yes. E-rehab has 475 Google reviews on its own profile, left by physical therapy practice owners. Search “E-rehab” on Google to read them, and bring any of them to your call.
Go deeper: Why 2,300+ practices chose E-rehab
Can I see real client websites, reviews, and results before I call?
Yes. Look at real websites we’ve built next to what they replaced, real client Google profiles after the review system went to work, and case studies of practices that went from invisible to found. Then bring your own numbers to the call and we’ll compare.

Social media and video
Facebook first, because that’s where physical therapy patients are. Send us a photo now and then.
Do you post on Instagram or TikTok?
Facebook is the core, and standard posting is Facebook. Its users skew older, and older adults are the people with the aching backs and stiff knees that need care. On Platinum, your five-star Google reviews also go out as Instagram image posts if you want them. We don’t spend your money on platforms full of people who will never book a visit.

How many posts a month will you create for me?
Gold includes 8 to 10 Facebook posts a month. Platinum steps up to daily Facebook posts on weekdays, plus two reputation videos a month. Every post is created and branded to your practice. Your part is a photo now and then.
Go deeper: Which plans include social media
How far does the “hometown famous” brand campaign reach?
About five miles around your clinic. It’s a steady brand campaign, not a click-for-a-free-eval funnel: your name, your team, and your patients’ stories showing up again and again in front of your neighbors, so when someone finally hurts their back, your name is the one that comes to mind. Campaign management is part of Diamond. Ad spend goes to Meta, and you set the cap.

What is a first visit video?
A short video that shows a new patient what their first visit will be like: your team, your clinic, and what to expect. It lives on your website and answers the question every new patient has, “Will I be comfortable here?” It comes with the Silver website plan.
Go deeper: Physical therapy video marketingThe Silver plan
Which three videos should a practice have first?
A “meet us before you call” video for your homepage, a few short patient education videos on the problems you treat, and a patient story told on camera with permission. We plan them, script them, edit them, caption them, and publish them. Some need nothing from you. The rest start with a phone and a few minutes.
